It depends. Ideally, the fireplace enclosure should be installed by a professional. However, if you’re confident in doing other finishing or installation work, you can likely build the warm enclosure yourself.

Yes, you can. The panels can be cut to any shape or size. You can easily cut them using basic tools.

Typically, it takes 1 to 3 days, depending on the finish. A basic, unfinished enclosure can usually be completed in one day. An additional 1–2 days are needed for applying adhesive, embedding the reinforcement mesh, and finishing with a smooth skim coat.

When preparing your order, we make every effort to ensure you receive all the materials needed to complete the enclosure. However, if you find that something is missing, you can easily purchase the required parts in our online store.

Basic tools are all you need, such as: a mixing paddle, hand saw, smoothing trowel, protective foil tape, putty knife, level, tape measure, square, utility knife, brushes, hammer, bucket, and a cordless screwdriver. You can also find the full list of required tools at the beginning of the instructional video.
